What our patients are saying...

I was at 11 and now I’m at 5.7 with my diabetes. I used to weigh 196 pounds, and now I weigh between 175 and 165. The diabetes medication didn’t just help me with my sugar—it also helped me lose weight, have more energy, and feel stronger. Before, I couldn’t walk far, and now I can. Texas Valley Clinical Research educated me and gave me what I needed to move forward. If I could do it, you can too. I am not diabetes. I am San Juanita.

Well, my experience here coming to this Texas Valley Clinical Research was very exciting. I heard of it from a friend and I was having trouble losing weight, so I tried I give it a shot. Oh, the staff members were really great. I mean they were all understanding and they were patient and they guided me through the whole process. I actually do feel a whole lot better and it has worked and I can't wait till I lose my goal weight, which is to be under 200 lb. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs to lose weight.

I struggled a lot to control my diabetes because of the way I ate, but here they explained everything very well. The medication has helped me control my appetite and improve my sugar levels. I started at over 200 pounds and now I weigh 172. I feel very comfortable with the staff at Texas Valley Clinical Research; they’ve treated me like family. They taught me how to check my sugar and take my daily medication. I recommend the clinic to family and friends who are also looking for a solution to their diabetes problem.

The medicine that I’m on has decreased my A1C tremendously. The process has been very smooth; I like that it doesn’t take up a whole lot of time and the time that I do put into the program is very beneficial to me and my family. I’ve learned a lot since I’ve joined this trial. It’s been beneficial and changed my life for the better.
Mike L. | Type 2 Diabetes Study
I am very grateful because I feel that it has helped me a lot. My glucose levels have gone down, and I’m more aware of my sugar. At the beginning of the study, I was aware of what diabetes is, but now I have more knowledge and tools to try to manage my sugar levels. I feel very happy because I have learned a lot. The staff at Texas Valley Clinical Research has always helped me and is attentive to whatever I need.

Bloodwork, testing--everything was explained to me. They always supply all the testing kits. They always ask me about how I’m doing. Ever since I’ve been with TVCR, it has benefitted me a lot. The main benefit I’ve had is the lowering of my blood sugar count. Previously I was in the 130s-140s, now I’m down to about 100s-110s which shows a great improvement. If somebody asked me to be with the research, I think I’d tell them to do so, for the good of humanity.
